Liv's Official Birth Announcement

Are you kidding me?? Look at that sweet girl! I am head over heels in love with Liv. After you watch this sentimental video birth announcement, you will be, too. Seriously. You've been warned.

Oh! I just can't get enough of her! Those toes. That tiny, puggy nose. Her sweet yawn! Big sister Charlie is precious with her; giving her lots of kisses and then holding her baby sister, but only for a minute before she gets bored and wants to go play. (Ha!) Oh, and that's Emily's song and singing in the video. Awesome, right? I absolutely love this wonderful family. God's blessings are boundless!!

Happy Birthday, Charlie Joy!

My BBF (Best Baby Friend) turns 1 today! I can't believe it's already been a whole year since she was born! I absolutely love her and just can't ever get enough of my baby girl. They celebrated her birthday with a party this past weekend. Here are a few highlights:

Seriously, you're going to love this song. And you're going to love the video that goes with it, too. Aaron, the singer/songwriter, is a friend of ours from church, and my BFF Emily and Charlie (when she was just a baby) are featured in the video along with some other children of even more of our friends. (I have the most talented friends ever! And also friends who just so happen to have the most beautiful daughters, ever!) Enjoy!

Best Bugs

Charlie Joy and Layla Grace are Best Buds Bugs!

For Halloween, Charlie was a little bumble bee and Layla was a (sleepy) ladybug! Yes, she was referred to as "Layla Bug" all weekend. Aren't they just the cutest little baby insects ever, ever??

And look! Charlie has started sitting up all on her own!! She's becoming such a big girl!

Can't you just feel the love between two BFs?? Okay, this might possibly be one-sided right now. It appears as though Layla may be trying to escape Charlie's lovin'. But they will surely be BFs as they grow up together!

By the end of the photo shoot, Charlie was clearly finished posing. She was like, "C'mon, guys! I'm not even 6 months old, yet! Give me a break, here!" Layla just snoozed on...

I pretty much adore these girls and am already loving watching them grow up!

Baby Whisperer

Look who loves me so much that she fell right asleep on my lap yesterday evening as the whole gang was outside enjoying the nice weather. Apparently, all the cheering for her daddy as the boys played basketball in the street was very exhausting. It's a good thing I'm such a comfy place to rest!

This is the last weekend that Charlie will be the only little girl on the street. Other Emily has her C-Section scheduled for next Wednesday! We cannot wait to meet baby Layla Grace! I'm sure I'll get to spend a lot of time with her, as well. After all, I am the Baby Whisperer...

(Look at those chubby, squished cheeks and arm wrinkles!! Makes me just want to squeeze her!)

3 months old

Today is Charlie's 3 month birthday!!

I can not believe how much she has changed.

She's so full of personality.

And she's started giving "kisses."

She's even reaching for things like a big girl!

And since she's such a big girl now, she was treated to a mini-pedi.

You've got to hear her sweet little baby sounds. She's going to be a singer, just like her mommy!

Preparing Princess Layla's kingdom

Emily had her church shower this past weekend for upcoming Layla Grace, and it was all pink and all princess!

We had a tiara on the cake, pink roses and pink sweetheart roses everywhere, and even items directly from Layla's nursery to use as decoration! Can you believe that Kris hand painted those two princess canvases?? He's so talented!

People must have gotten the memo, because everything she got was an adorable pink and brown! Emily and Layla were definitely showered with gifts.

Of course little Charlie had to come to the all girls' event, and of course Emily had to practice loving on a precious angel.

Seriously, look how cute she is!

Oh my goodness, I just can't get enough of these sweet little babies! I especially love the pink, ribbons, flowers, bows, and princessy things. I always wanted to have a boy first when we start having kids, but these girls are quickly winning over my heart!!

Eye Candy

Charlie is seriously the sweetest little girl, ever. Emily sent me these pictures a couple of weeks ago, which turns out to be a significant percentage of your life when you're less than one month old. So, I guess that means that these pictures are a little outdated, but that does not mean that I can't still share them with you!
